Baby Update

So here is what we know so far.  I have preclampsia and gestational diabetes.  My doctor is very reluctant to let me out of the hospital before the baby is born.  They plan on inducing when I turn 36 weeks which is on December 13th.  I may get to go home sooner than that, but I am not getting my hopes up.  That way if I do manage to get out of here, it will be all the more sweet!!

Hey everyone!!  I have an update for everyone!

 

Apparently, Peter and my quest to get pregnant was the easy part of this little adventure we are on.  As it stands now, I will most likely be calling Flagstaff Medical Center home for the next few weeks until Lillian is born.  I have had some funky labs that make my doctor think that I have preclampsia and she does not feel it is safe to send me home with first having delivered our expected bundle of joy.  Lucky for me, this luxurious hospital room come with internet access now that I have charmed the nurses into getting it set up for me.  Depending on how things go we could deliver that baby any time from now (unlikely) to around December 14th.  If anyone has nothing to do, you are more than welcome to come visit me.  Let me know ahead of time so I can make sure that I am still in the same room (which right now is 3508 in the Women and Infant Center).  I hope everyone is doing well and have a great weekend.  I know my plans are to curl up with a good book, take some exciting wheelchair ride around the hospital, and plot how to break out of prison, err I mean the hospital
